1. About SEO Readiness

SEO Readiness is a Chrome browser extension developed and maintained by Owais Ahmed Sheikh. It provides an instant 0–100 SEO Readiness Score for any website by analysing publicly accessible signals: sitemap freshness, content activity, SERP indexing recency, technical health, and link profile. All analysis is performed locally in your browser.

2. License Tiers

Pro access is granted via a license key delivered automatically to your email after purchase on Gumroad.

3. Pro License Key Terms

By activating a Pro license key, you agree to the following conditions:

3.1 — One Key, One Device, One Person

Each Pro license key is issued to a single individual for use on one device and one Google account only. Upon first activation, your key is cryptographically bound to your device fingerprint (a one-way hash of your PC, Google account, browser platform, language and timezone). This binding cannot be transferred without contacting us.

3.2 — No Sharing

Sharing, lending, selling, or distributing your license key is strictly prohibited. The system actively detects key-sharing: if 3 or more different device fingerprints attempt to use the same key, the key is automatically and permanently revoked with no refund.

3.3 — License Duration

Pro is an annual license. You retain Pro access for the duration of your active subscription and as long as you comply with these terms. We reserve the right to revoke any key used in violation of these terms.

3.4 — Device Transfers

If you purchase a new PC or need to move your license to a different device, contact us via email at owaisahmed591@gmail.com. We will verify your original Google account details and issue a replacement key at no charge. Do not attempt to transfer a key yourself — it will fail and may trigger the abuse detection system.

3.5 — Revocation Conditions

We reserve the right to revoke a Pro license key — with no refund — under any of the following circumstances:

• The key is used on more than one device or Google account
• The key is shared, resold, or redistributed
• Three or more different device fingerprints attempt to activate the key
• Payment is disputed, reversed, or charged back
• Any other violation of these Terms of Service

Genuine users who believe a key was revoked in error should contact us by email — we resolve such cases same day.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use SEO Readiness for lawful purposes only. The following are prohibited:

• Using the Extension to scan websites at a rate that constitutes abuse of those websites' servers
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Extension's source code for malicious purposes
• Reselling, redistributing, or sub-licensing the Pro license key
• Using the Extension in a way that violates Google's Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies
• Misrepresenting the Extension's scores in a deceptive manner to third parties
• Attempting to bypass license verification by manipulating browser storage or extension files

5. Accuracy of Scores

The SEO Readiness Score is an indicative heuristic based on publicly accessible signals. It is intended to help link builders make faster decisions — not to replace a full SEO audit. Scores may not reflect real-time changes to a website and should not be used as the sole basis for commercial decisions.

We do not warrant that scores are accurate, complete, or up-to-date. The Extension is provided "as is" without any guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Payments and Refunds

The Pro license is an annual subscription of $79 USD per year (or local equivalent), processed via Gumroad. Due to the instant delivery of license keys, all sales are final. If you have not received your key within 24 hours, contact us by email and we will resolve it promptly.

7. Intellectual Property

The SEO Readiness name, logo, extension code, website design, and all associated assets are the intellectual property of Owais Ahmed Sheikh. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the Extension or website without explicit written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with third-party websites (the sites you choose to analyse) and Google Search by making standard HTTP GET requests to publicly accessible URLs. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

The landing page is hosted on Netlify and uses Google Fonts. Use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms of service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Owais Ahmed Sheikh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension in the most recent billing period.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SEO Readiness is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version is always published at seoreadiness.netlify.app/terms.html. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally via the contact details below. You agree to contact us before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
