1. About SEO Readiness

SEO Readiness is a Chrome browser extension developed and maintained by Owais Ahmed Sheikh. It provides a directional 0-100 readiness estimate based on public crawl, freshness, Google discovery, technical, spam-risk, and sample-page link-treatment signals. It is not a full SEO audit or ranking guarantee.

2. License Tiers

Pro access is granted via a license key delivered after purchase on Gumroad.

3. Pro License Key Terms

By activating a Pro license key, you agree to the following conditions:

3.1 - One Key, One Browser/Device, One Person

Each Pro license key is issued to a single individual for use on one primary browser/device environment. Activation uses a local browser/device identifier for license verification. SEO Readiness does not read your Chrome profile email.

3.2 - No Sharing

Sharing, lending, selling, or distributing your license key is prohibited. If the same key is used across multiple unrelated devices in a way that indicates sharing or abuse, the key may be revoked without refund.

3.3 - License Duration

Pro is an annual license. You retain Pro access for the duration of your active subscription and as long as you comply with these terms. We reserve the right to revoke any key used in violation of these terms.

3.4 - Device Transfers

If you purchase a new PC, reinstall Chrome, or need a legitimate transfer, contact us via email at owaisahmed591@gmail.com. We will verify the purchase/license record and help transfer access where appropriate.

3.5 - Revocation Conditions

We reserve the right to revoke a Pro license key with no refund under any of the following circumstances:

• The key is shared, resold, or redistributed
• The key is used across multiple unrelated browser/device identifiers
• Payment is disputed, reversed, or charged back
• The extension or license system is tampered with to bypass verification
• Any other material violation of these Terms of Service

Genuine users who believe a key was revoked in error should contact us by email.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use SEO Readiness for lawful purposes only. The following are prohibited:

• Using the Extension to scan websites at a rate that constitutes abuse of those websites' servers
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Extension's source code for malicious purposes
• Reselling, redistributing, or sub-licensing a Pro license key
• Using the Extension in a way that violates Chrome Web Store policies
• Misrepresenting the Extension's scores as ranking guarantees or complete SEO audits
• Attempting to bypass license verification by manipulating browser storage or extension files

5. Accuracy of Scores

The SEO Readiness Score is a directional heuristic based on publicly accessible signals. It helps link builders make faster decisions, but it does not replace Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Google Search Console, a full SEO audit, or professional judgment.

We do not warrant that scores are accurate, complete, or up to date. The Extension is provided "as is" without any guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Payments and Refunds

The Pro license is an annual subscription of $79 USD per year (or local equivalent), processed via Gumroad. Due to digital license delivery, all sales are final. If you have not received your key within 24 hours, contact us by email and we will resolve it promptly.

7. Intellectual Property

The SEO Readiness name, logo, extension code, website design, and associated assets are the intellectual property of Owais Ahmed Sheikh. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the Extension or website without explicit written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with third-party websites and Google Search by making standard browser requests to public URLs when you choose to scan a site. The website is hosted on Netlify, purchases are processed by Gumroad, and plan/license verification uses our backend provider. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Owais Ahmed Sheikh shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension in the most recent billing period.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SEO Readiness is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version is always published at seoreadiness.netlify.app/terms. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally via the contact details below.
